Jessamine Christian Healthcare, Inc., was
established in 1999 through the vision of
Dr. Thomas Coburn, our founding physician, with a desire to begin a full service medical facility that would provide exceptional medical care rooted in Biblical principles and Christian living.
We
specialize in Christ-centered Family Medicine and
Internal Medicine. It is our privilege to see patients of all ages, from newborns to senior citizens. We are proud to be an active part of the Wilmore community.
Dr. Joshua Huffman joined
Jessamine Christian Healthcare in 2001. He has become a full partner in the practice and shares the same commitment to developing a Christ-centered model of excellent medical care.
Dr. Coburn and Dr. Huffman are board certified physicians in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, respectively. Both physicians stay current with the latest in medical care by completing continuing medical education courses and passing periodic re-certification examinations.
Jessamine Christian Healthcare is a full service medical practice
that provides preventative care and medical treatment of pediatric and adult patients for chronic medical problems and acute illness. The providers perform office surgery, dermatological procedures, radiological tests, lab work, medical education, and medical counseling.

Dear Patients and Friends of Jessamine Christian Healthcare:
I write to you to share some exciting new changes happening in our office.
After much prayer and consideration, Jessamine Christian Healthcare has decided
to join forces with Saint Joseph Health Systems. You will notice some changes,
like new signs and new logos, but our vision will remain the same – to show the
love of Christ by delivering quality healthcare to our friends and neighbors in
this community. I want to assure you that we will remain the same caring office;
I believe God has called me to this community and I remain committed to serving
you, as does my compassionate staff that you have come to trust.
Saint Joseph Health Systems has a long history of providing excellent
healthcare to central Kentucky. Their faith-based mission to care for those in
need, their quest for excellence, and their expansive resources in our area has
made them a valuable partner throughout the years that I have been in practice.
With their recent commitment to our community with the construction of the Saint
Joseph Jessamine facility, it only made sense for our office to seek a stronger
relationship with them. This partnership will allow for a wider variety of
services for our patients and the assurance of quality care to continue in these
trying economic times. I believe our future has never looked brighter.
